According to Gurung tradition ‘Ghatu’ dance is performed on full moon day of Baishakh and ‘Ghatu khoye’ is organized after performing ‘Ghatu’ by related community. Neighbor communities are invited for ‘Khoye’. In our culture ,‘Tamu (Gurung) Samaj organize ‘Khoye’ to teach younger generation and preserve ‘Gurung’ culture/tradition.
