Prag Mahal – the royal pride of Bhuj |

The Prag Mahal of Bhuj in the Kutch district of Gujarat is a living textbook on royalty. Commissioned and named after Maharao Pragmalji II in 1865, the palace took 14 years to build. While the mahal premises itself is lavish, the interiors redefine extravagance. The walls, the decors, the design, the chandeliers, everything speaks of royalty. The Grand Durbar Hall will give you a glimpse of the aristocratic lifestyle our Maharajas used to live. We took this golden opportunity to practise yoga within the imperial property, which had such a calming effect on all of us. The asanas that we performed were Virabhadrasana, Ardha Kati Chakrasana and Padahastasana.
