"Arrival at Edoras" ft. Rebecca Rovny & Sanni Halla - Kingdoms of Arda Soundtrack

Описание к видео "Arrival at Edoras" ft. Rebecca Rovny & Sanni Halla - Kingdoms of Arda Soundtrack

Hi! My name is Emil and I am part of the Kingdoms of Arda developer team. My task is to create music for the world of Middle Earth. This project will feature freshly made from-the-ground-up orchestral pieces. Both our own cues and original compositions by Howard Shore.

This piece was made in collaboration with Sanni Halla (vocals) and Rebecca Rovny (violin). Thank you both for this amazing collaboration that really brought this to life. Make sure to follow their socials to see more of what amazing things they do!

"Arrival at Edoras" is a location cue, that will be played when visiting Edoras.

Lyrics:
[Old-English]
Hwær cwom mearg? Hwær cwom mago?
Hwær cwom maþþumgyfa?
Hwær cwom symbla gesetu?
Hwær sindon seledreamas?
Hu seo þrag gewat,
swa heo no wære.

[Modern English Translation]
Where is the horse gone? Where the warrior?
Where is the treasure-giver?
Where are the seats at the feast?
Where are the revels in the hall?
How that time has passed away,
as if it never were
