More widely known as "Skye Boat Song", this is a Scottish folk song describing the escape of Bonnie Prince Charlie from the Uists to the Isle of Skye after his defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746. This version by Alastair McDonald uses the original lyrics, which can be found below.
