Shocking Advisory For MBBS in Georgia | Georgia Not fulfilling NMC FMGL Rules 2021

Описание к видео Shocking Advisory For MBBS in Georgia | Georgia Not fulfilling NMC FMGL Rules 2021

Dear MBBS Abroad Aspirants,

On 9th August 2024 embassy of Georgia in India has published an Advisory for India students claiming that Georgia is in compliance with the new rules of NMC.
https://india.mfa.gov.ge/en/news/0856...

This advisory states that after completing undergraduate medical education students can work as junior doctors under supervision of specialised doctors. This notice is highly misleading in contradiction with advisory issued by Embassy of India in Georgia and fails to answer the following questions.

1. Are junior doctors provided the license to practice as doctors in Georgia same like local students to practice medicine as required under FMGL Rules.

2. In Georgia Junior doctors are not allowed to practice independently and have to work under the strict supervision of a senior specialist. They cannot be compared with a MBBS doctor in India who can work independently and conduct his own OPD.

3. Did Embassy published this advisory in consultation with the National Medical Commission to verify that medical education in Georgia is in compliance with the new rules of NMC. If yes they shall validate their claim.

Ex. Health Minister Mr. Mansukh Mandavia has clearly stated in Parliament that India will not accept any foreign retuned student who are not allowed to practice in the county or fails to get license from that country.

Students are advised to be extremely careful and wait for official update from National Medical Commission before taking their final decision.
