Used by the United States Marine Corps Special Operation Command, and fielded as a light attack vehicle to support expeditionary forces.
It’s the only tactical vehicle certified by the US Military to fly in the V-22 Osprey.
Also certified to fly in the CH47, CH53c and C130. In addition to its flight certification, the M1161 has also passed all transportability testing including all applicable FMVSS requirements and a 12,000 mile reliability/ durability test.
Equipped with some unique features that makes it suitable for many applications:
