Описание к видео Prado 150 Transmission Cooler – Fitting & Installation Guide

How to install an Auto Transmission Cooler in a Prado 150.

** Video shows the connection to top hose which will place the new cooler before the factory cooler. Connection to the bottom hose will place cooler after the factory cooler. The performance will be similar, however, it is generally accepted that placing the cooler after the factory cooler is best practice. Connection to the top hose is easier.**

The kit is a KAON kit complete with stainless steel brackets that attach to existing holes. No drilling or cutting required. The cooler is a high-quality Australian-made Davies Craig cooler. The kit includes all hardware and extra hose required to complete the installation.

The job takes about 1 hour to complete and requires an extra 300mL of transmission fluid to fill the hoses and cooler.

The transmission cooler will reduce the ATF temperature by 20-30 degrees. This will prolong the life of the oil and protect the transmission from damage. This kit is recommended if you do a lot of towing, sand driving, or low range 4WDing.
