Remington Model 121 - The Fix

Time to get our repairs going on the Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster. With a born on date of 1947 this iconic John Pedersen designed Remington .22 S/L/LR chambered pump/slide action tube magazine fed repeater was purchased as a non-functional "gunsmith special" from a LGS and sat for a number of years on my back burner as it would not feed from the magazine correctly and my few attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. Then, you guys came along.......

Brought out for filming of a short form video to just feature it quickly "as is" turned into a fascinating exploration into the refinement of the Remington Model 12C by designers C. C. Loomis and G. H. Harrison which gave birth to the Model 121 in 1936 and the patents they have for the changes they made which led to a deeper understanding of exactly how it works and what was causing the rifle to malfunction. We purchased a part on eBay that will hopefully remedy the "no feed" problem......come along and see if we are successful!
