For Your Consideration (Jan 22 - Feb 11, 2021) presents a conversation with 'Dara In Jasenovac' Director Predrag 'Gaga' Antonijevic and Executive Producer Michael Berenbaum, moderated by MVFF & DocLands Programming Manager, Sterling Hedgpeth.

Writer-director Predrag Antonijevic’s historical drama takes place in the World War II concentration camp run by Croatian fascists. With no information about her father’s whereabouts, 12-year-old Dara is deposited along with her mother and brothers, and she makes it her personal mission to ensure the survival of her baby brother.

For the 17th consecutive year, the California Film Institute presents a selection of Oscar® submissions from around the world. This year, 93 countries have submitted films for consideration in the 2021 Academy Awards® Best International Feature Film category.
