Here's another easy & delicious sandwich recipe that is perfect for including at your iftar table during Ramadan, pack for lunch boxes or take on trips ~ Classic Chicken Mayo Sandwiches.

Simple to make and the flavour is very reminiscent of the sandwiches that we get in local bakeries in Bahrain 😊

Small Batch Recipe ( Can double acc. to your requirement )

Filling -
300g Chicken Breast. Boiled in water and 1/2 tsp of salt. Drain and shred it with two forks or your hand ( Use a hand mixer for big batches )
Extra pinch of salt
1 Tsp of Crushed Black Pepper
1/3 cup Mayo ( Mazola mayo is chef's kiss but if you can't find it, any brand would do )
1 tbsp Mustard

For additional taste you can also add chopped spring onion or parsley.

Mix everything until creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning. Refrigerate this filling for about an hour so the flavours develop.

Butter slices of bread, place filling and make sandwiches.

You can make the sandwiches ahead and store them in an airtight container until Iftar as well ( Make sure it's airtight or you will run the risk of the bread becoming hard and dry )
