Over 900 students of Karatina University in Nyeri County staged street demonstrations protesting at the death of one to protest the death of one of their own. Amos Etyang, a third year student is claimed to have drowned in a swimming pool after he had gone for games with his fellow students in Mombasa on Good Friday.
