In this video I explain the basics of the appropriation account for limited liability companies and go through six (6) examples.

I show the following:

- basic appropriation account (with no retained earnings brought forward),
- 2 appropriation accounts with retained earnings brought forward added either at the start or at the end,
- a profit and loss appropriation account with the new items debenture interest and directors' remuneration,
- an appropriation account where you are given net income before debenture interest, and
- an appropriation account for a six-month period where I ask a question for you to vote on.
