We see them everyday. They take us to our jobs and for recreation, irrespective of the vagaries of weather & time. In spite of how essential they are to the functioning of a city, we know so little about them.
India has a population of 1.3 billion and is home to three-quarters of the world's auto-rickshaws. Here, life is lived at a non-stop speed, good opportunities and patience are slightly far-flung and respect is hard earned. Watch how these ‘Autowala(s)', as the auto-rickshaw drivers are called in India, struggle with their gruelling job, especially when it comes with its own bunch of labels and challenges.
