Netflix Ruined This Anime!

The Netflix adaptation of Kakegurui, Bet just came out a couple of weeks ago and I gotta say it might be one of the worst anime adaptations yet, Like Netflix Death Note levels of bad.
First let’s talk about the few good things like the production and sets are top tier and the casting for Yumeko was perfect with Miku Martineau doing an incredible job.

And now on to the bad… Firstly the story wasn’t adapted well at all, mostly because the characters didn’t make sense if you’ve read the manga or watched the anime.

And don’t even get me started on the casting for this show as a whole, sure Yumeko was perfect. But the rest of the cast was a bunch of bland boring stereotypes we’ve seen a thousand times in these highschool shows in western media.

This show had so much potential, but was ruined to try and appeal to too many people at once. What do you guys think?
