On 18th December, the 9th Edition of the SAI Olympics commenced at SAI International School, promising five days of thrilling sportsmanship and competition. The grand opening ceremony was inaugurated by Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, Hon'ble Minister of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Odisha, who hoisted the SAI Olympics flag and declared the meet open. In his address, he highlighted Odisha's centenary in 2036 and India’s potential as a host for the Olympics, inspiring young athletes to dream big and aim for the global stage. He reminded everyone, “Participation is more important than winning,” encouraging the students to embrace the Olympic spirit.
