In this video, we'll revise some different ways the character of Gabriel John Utterson (from R.L. Stevenson's 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde') could be interpreted. There are key quotations to support each interpretation of the character, as well as a practice GCSE English Literature exam-style question at the end about how Mr Utterson is presented as a good freind in chapter three, as well as in the novel as a whole.
