Tamiya Lunchbox Brushless - Most Fun RC Beach Basher Ever ? 2S Lipo 3500kv RC Monster Truck.

Filmed on Bournemouth beach 2016 using GoPro 3+. Lunchbox has a 3500kv Radient Reaktor waterproof brushless system. It has Tamiya oil shocks and the 5th shock mod. Also, aluminium body posts. I'm using a 'shorty' 2S Lipo pack. Anyone looking for an RC to play with on the beach could do a lot worse than the Tamiya Lunchbox. A lot of RC trucks and buggies use dog bone drive shafts which fit into drive cups and these work fine until they are full of sand. Also some cars have gears that aren't fully sealed which again are fine until they get sand in them. The simple design of the Lunchbox gearbox with the axle and motor integrated into it means that it's quite difficult for sand to get in where it shouldn't. Just so long as you've got waterproof electrics you can just rinse it under the garden tap when you're finished. Maybe WD40 anything you think might go rusty but I generally don't bother !
