Описание к видео Texas Court of Appeals Brief - Sample, example, template in both PDF and Word formats.

Hello Folks,

I just wanted to do a quick video about filing a Court of Appeals brief in Texas. In the description section of this video there is a link to a brief I filed back in 2014. I have also included a link to the editable Word version so you can use it as a template.

Hopefully, you will find this brief to be comprehensive in nature. It shows multiple examples of how to argue reversible error on all three aspects of the law; namely the substantive law, the procedural law, and the evidentiary law. It also had a comprehensive appendix attached so you can see how that is done. In any case, if you have any questions let me know.

I want to leave you today with an inspirational quote about the nature of your duty when it comes to standing up for truth and justice. This is taken from Chapter 2.38 of The Bhagavad Gita As It Is:

Do thou fight for the sake of fighting, without considering happiness or distress, loss or gain, victory or defeat—and, by so doing, you shall never incur sin.

Thank you for listening, see you next time…
