You can enjoy the Ueno Green Club if you are interested in Bonsai. The Ueno Green Club is a venue for Bonsai exhibitions. This facility also houses the official Japan Bonsai Association's office. However, the structure is not very large, and Bonsai shows are frequently hosted on weekends. Everyone is welcome to come and admire the gorgeous Bonsai.

Most displays are only open on weekends, and the venue fills up during the Spring Bonsai Festival (early February, a Kokufu-ten event), when over a hundred displays are set up. On Wednesdays, it is closed.

Walk across the zoo from Ueno Station to the park on the west side. Take the Chiyoda train to Nezu station and exit at exit 2.
