It's arrived! The new Hornby Class 423 4-VEP EMU - model R30106.

I've been waiting ages for this, part of the ongoing challenge with Hornby's announement/production/release timeline.

It's the only Southern livery train that I'm aware of, so I've been keen to get my hands on this.

I got the model from ‪@TheModelCentreTMC‬. In true Hornby style, it was only available as DCC Ready, so TMC added a DCC sound encoder along with a keep-alive (my track is less than perfect!)
