Up and down the gearbox - Bristol K6B 959 (KUO 972) in the countryside

After the eventful start to this journey (see earlier uploads) the driver's skill and experience can be enjoyed to the full as we continue from Salcombe to Kingsbridge aboard ex Western National 1950 Bristol AVW-engined Bristol K6B/ECW 959 (KUO 972).
Unusually for a K-type, this bus has a 5-speed Bristol gearbox (as fitted commonly to Bristol L-type single-deckers), and the driver delightfullymakes full use of this as it bowls along merrily, with a good turn of speed.
Relieved from its strain of steep hills, enjoy the bus merrily singing along through the countryside, using all 5 forward gears to very good effect.
