Most of our tracks start out as solo pieces on piano/guitar before being arranged for the band. In this video we wanted to give you an insight into the compositional and harmonic origins of the music...

The elements that make up our songs - composition, intervals, scales/modes (mainly Lydian/Dorian/Aeolian), melodic and rhythmical decisions - are easier to hear when they're stripped back in solo piano form.

As professional composers we’re constantly trying increase and expand our knowledge and understanding of harmony and rhythm to get closer to the sound we want to create, tell a story and take people on a unique journey.

Hopefully this comes across in the LC sound. :)
