IIAC 2024 Gourd Dance James Yellowfish Powwow

The Indigenous Institute of the Americas is a nonprofit Intertribal organization located in North Texas but committed to the preservative of Traditional knowledge from the Americas prior to and since 1492.
Our community powwow and celebration honored an amazing elder, Mr. James Yellowfish. This video is long. It is meant for the family and friends who loved James to hear his spirit through the Gourd Dance songs by Comanche Thunder. James was a friend, Uncle, Father, Grandfather and Mentor to many, many people. We hope the Yellowfish family knows how much we care and appreciate them for all they have contributed to our community. Aho.
