My first time using a bow against the troll. Swapping to a melee weapon in order to interrupt his regeneration makes the fight nearly identical to a melee fight, but I decided stick with only my bow for the added challenge. Made a few mistakes, overleveled a bit, learned a bit.
I discovered a bug on my first attempt at the fight. If you use Hunter's Mark on the troll after you have already applied him with it, he will use his regeneration immediately, regardless of his current health. That's why I sometimes hold off on using Hunter's Mark at the beginning of the fight.
