Back in 1993, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was originally supposed to end after 40 episodes, but Haim Saban & the whole country knew that the show was a major success. So, Saban had Toei Company & Rainbow Productions make 25 new episodes worth of footage of the characters from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger exclusively for the American television show Power Rangers. Used in the end of season one and beginning of season 2, this footage included new ranger fights, monsters, and megazord battles, this is the story of Zyu2 & also Zyu1.5.

Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー Kyōryū Sentai Jūrenjā, translated into English as Dinosaur Squadron Beast Ranger) is the sixteenth installment in the Super Sentai franchise and the first Super Sentai series to be adapted into an installment of the American Power Rangers series. Footage from all 50 episodes were extensively used for the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (abbreviated as "MMPR") is a live-action television and movie series based on the Super Sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, and is the first entry in the Power Rangers metaseries. The first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers first aired on Fox Kids from August 28, 1993 to May 23, 1994. Although it was a children's series, it became an iconic part of 1990s pop culture.
