BFS Trout … my first … Aioushi fibreglass rod and Tsurinoya Dark Wolf Ultra KF50S. Bait Finesse Fishing.
I had never fished for trout before using BFS tackle, let alone used a glass BFS rod. I paid about £60 for the Aioushi fibreglass BFS rod and was itching to try it.

After eventually finding a venue where i could give it a go, i set out to learn how to cast with a glass Aioushi BFS rod, having paired it with my modified Tsurinoya Dark Wolf Ultra reel. I had simply added extra magnets to give it more control. Join me on my new adventure as i try to perfect my technique and learn what lures will tempt a Trout.

Although I am not an expert BFS angler I am learning quickly through my Facebook group “BFS BUDGET FINESSE FISHING”, why not join and pick up skills from BFS anglers all over the world.

Glass BFS rods have a totally different action when compared to traditional carbon BFS rods; they are much softer, often a bit wobbly when waggled, but it is this action that can help load
light lures and prevent hook pulls from hyperactive trout.
Really loving BFS Trout fishing so keep posted as I continue lure fishing for trout and I hone my skills.
