Canning Meatloaf - How to pressure can meatloaf from our homestead recipe. We show you how to raw pack ground beef and the other ingredients below to can this complete family meal in a jar. Canned Homestead Style Meatloaf
Pressure Canned Raw Pack Ground Beef *

9 lbs Hamburger / Ground Beef
Note: 4.5 lbs 80-20 and 4.5 lbs 93-7
3 diced Bell Peppers
4 diced Onions
2 packets Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 tbs Garlic Salt
1 tbs Onion Salt
4 extra large eggs (or up to 8 small eggs)
3 six ounce cans Tomato Paste

Mix everything except the tomato paste in a large bowl. Add to jars small balls at a time, leaving 1 1/2" head space. Pack tightly to avoid air pockets using a spoon (or by hand). Top with a heaping tablespoon of tomato paste. Process pint and a half jars for 90 min (processing time) in a pressure canner at the appropriate pressure for your elevation / altitude.

Yields nine 1 1/2 pint jars of meatloaf. Or eight and a nice snack.
