This song was conceived at a beach house out in Waldport Oregon, during a 3-day studio writing binge. While we ended up with a solid 7-8 songs during our time at the beach, this song captured a very present and real state of mind for me that weekend. While not all the lyrics to the are completely relevant, I am thankful that I can use the gift of music to express myself in a way I might not be able to normally put into words. This song speaks of guilt and remorse and also shows a inherent need to learn and grow from our mistakes.
