Kailasagiri Betta is perfect weekend getaway from Bengaluru. It is approx. 88 kms far from Bengaluru and it is an ideal place for those who love to trek, enjoy quality time in nature and do off-roading on their bikes.
This hills is also called as Bhima Bakasura Betta, as it is believed that Pandavas from Mahabharata era lived here during their exile and Bhima slain Bakasura.
You can visit the famous cave temple and can go at the top of the hill to witness the amazing view of this place.
Ideal time to visit this place is monsoon and mainly early in the morning to witness the hill top covered in clouds.
