The changing of the guard in Athens takes place every hour at the Hellenic Parliament building in Syntagma, Athens.
Evzones is the special unit of the Hellenic Army in Athens that guards the monument of the unknown soldiers and the presidential mansion for 24 hours with an hourly change.
This monument is a cenotaph which created between 1930 and 1932, dedicated to Greek soldiers who were killed during wars and conflicts.
