FLS Projects Vietnam shipped a fishing trawler weighing 575 metric tons from Halong Bay, Vietnam to its designated fishing territory in Canada! FLS not only chartered a suitable heavy lift vessel in accordance with the client’s requirements but also was heavily involved in all arrangements prior and during loading: Special steel cradles accommodating the unique hull shape were fabricated according to the design of our in-house engineer. Also, FLS’ stevedoring team positioned the heavy cradles in the exact location on the vessel’s deck prior to loading. In addition, experienced marine divers were hired to ensure the correct placement of the slings under the hull in the water for a safe belly lift operation.
