I just sort of stumbled on this one while exploring Wellspring for the first time. The fight was pretty much won the second I was able to get the Snake Charmer down but it still takes a while to drain the Python's health. Winning this fight at this point in the game got me an incredible bow that stayed with H'aanit for most the rest of the game.
