Daybreak finds the House of Folk Art crew rolling up I-81 with coffee in hand and cameras charged. Wade and Matt have been on the grounds since first light, and Kyle and Sully roll in ready to track them down among rows already glowing with fresh stock. Ten crowded hours follow as buttons spill from jars, pie-safe lore gets a fresh airing, and a summer storm threatens to shut the action down before anyone is ready to quit.

Matt never slows. He shells out for a thousand vintage buttons, trades stories with a cool cat named Larry, and shows Kyle why a folk-painted wash stand pairs perfectly with a snake-carved cane. Sully sets himself a mission to locate the best walking stick in the entire show, while Kyle follows along with camera in hand.

By the final loop the crew is racing rain clouds, double-checking a sold painting, and landing two Benny Carter bears that would make any trip worthwhile. A Seagrove face jug capped the haul, and everyone heads back to Wade’s booth already planning the fall return.
