What’s in my mini plein air watercolor kit?!

What’s in my bag? I’ve put together a mini plein air watercolour kit that I can pack into my kayak or take hiking so I’m ready to paint whenever inspiration strikes!I haven’t been endorsed or sponsored by any of these companies (ahem, *yet*). These are just the products that I use and like!

Let’s see what I’ve got:

I’ve packed everything into a @fjallravenofficial High Coast Cross Body 3L Bag.

Inside, I’ve got two 5x7 watercolour blocks - one hot press and one cold press. These are Baohong 100% cotton paper from @meeden.art

My palette is from @portablepainter, and I’ve filled it with a selection of 12 @danielsmithartistmaterials and @beampaints colours that feel like the Cariboo.

My little pencil/brush case is from @maiwahandprints and fits various brushes, pencils, spray bottle, eraser, @winsorandnewton waterproof pen, @viarcoportugal Art Graf water soluble graphite, @pebeo_official masking fluid pen, @carandache watercolour crayons, and a couple extra @danielsmithartistmaterials paint selections.

Plus I always pack my trusty Opinel knife 🔪, my phone, and I forgot one super important item: bug spray!
