One of SP Automation & Robotics' medical device clients required an innovative solution for an AI inspection system and a transfer system to connect several existing machines. The system was also required to buffer the product to accommodate stoppages in the upstream machines. The system required complete tracking of the product throughout to ensure that any reject detected at the in-feed inspection was tracked.
