How to Build and Bait Swarm Traps. Free Plans to get 3 Traps out of 1 Sheet of Plywood.

In this video I’ll show you how to build 3 Langstroth Swarm Traps out of 1 sheet of plywood. Also known as a Bait Hive, it’s purpose is to catch Farrel Honeybees or as some would call them Free Bees. I’ll go through each step from building a swarm trap to setting up a swarm trap. You can also find a link below for the swarm trap plan that I used in this video.

The purpose of this video is to show the woodworking side of beekeeping. Although I do get into how to setup your Bait Hive. I will leave the true Beekeeping videos to those who specialize in them. I’ll leave a few links below to some great YouTube channels that do just that.
