This success was largely due to the city's strategic use of existing venues and corporate sponsorships, minimizing costs while maximizing revenue. As LA prepares to host the 2028 Olympics, it plans to replicate this winning formula by leveraging existing sports infrastructure, like SoFi Stadium and Crypto.com Arena, and enhancing transportation through initiatives like the "Twenty-eight by '28." Despite the challenges, including a projected $6.88 billion budget and substantial transportation upgrades, LA aims to deliver another financially successful Olympic Games. And.......hopefully not at the expense of taxpayers' dollars!
