Schmincke Naturals Watercolors | Unboxing and First Painting

Post-edit Bri: I now see videos of others painting with these paints, so I apologize if I caused offense. When I first obtained these a few weeks ago, I hadn't seen any yet, but I fell super behind on art and YouTube. I can't wait to catch up and see what everyone else did with them :)

Trying out the new Schmincke Naturals paints. These are Schmincke's new vegan lineup of paints made exclusively from earth pigments and plant resins/extracts. Please note that these are not standard watercolors and have unique behaviors and less saturated colors due to the origin of their pigments. They are also quite pricey. I am listing the colors below because I absolutely butchered their names.

Plant Pigments Set:
- Curcuma (NY3)
- Madder Lake (NR9) (Alizarin Crimson, my baby)
- Indigofera (NB1)
- Dyer's Green (NB1, NY3)
- Stil de Grain (NY13)

Natural Earth Set:
- Celadonite (PG23)
- Yellow Ochre (NY43)
- Lalvarit Violet (Pigment not registered)
- Caucasus Earth (PG23)
- Green Slate (PBk19)
