The song "Vorolaki Au" is a story about a young couple (a handsome gentleman from Savusavu and a beautiful lady from Lomaiviti) they started off their relationship and fell deeply in love with each other to a point that they had agreed they would like to spend the rest of their lives together. They had the traditional engagement (Duguci) and all wedding plans were set and ready to go. Unfortunately with just a few months to their wedding, a close relative of the savusavu lad had been informing the bride to be about how her own tavale (the savusavu lad) has not been true and faithful to her. After a few months of hearing about these things, she had decided to cancel the wedding and everything that was planned.

A few years later, they accidentally met again in Suva. And they sat down to talk about what had happened between them and why she canceled the wedding. She told her part of the story and of all the things that she was told. Unfortunately what she was told were all lies and none of them true!

The Savusavu lad asked and requested if they could start again, start fresh. But unfortunately by the time they met again the lomaiviti lady was already married to someone else.

This song is sung from the perspective of the beautiful lady from lomaiviti and how she was heartbroken when she heard that she was lied to and deceived by the very own people that she trusted.
