Join us for a quick trip, off the ranch, to one of our favorite places to visit in Texas: Antiques Week in Round Top. Round Top is like a bedazzled hidden gem in Northern Fayette County. Round Top’s website, for the last decade, says more than 100,000 people attend each Antiques Week. This may have been true 10 years ago. I’ll bet 100,000 people will go through Junk Gypsy’s store today alone! This is a HUGE attraction in Central, Texas, with people selling and buying from all over the globe. You never know what you will find in Round Top. It is well worth the trip.


We visited a couple of our favorite places, including Junk Gypsy and McLaren’s Antiques and Interiors, but we also made some new friends and found one of the best food trucks we have ever encountered: Local Roots Food Truck. You can check her out on Instagram @ Local_Roots_Food_Truck. Any coffee on the menu is wonderful and the homemade Ding Dong will blow your mind (when you awaken from the sugar coma).


After a full day of exploration, we finally found Lady’s treasure. Our Twinkle Light Cowgirl now proudly stands at the entrance to our gym, which happens to be a high-cube shipping container. It definitely classes the place up a bit. (LOL)


A very special thank you to @JunkGypsy for blazing a trail and always giving all of your guests a wonderful experience. Definitely Kloey’s favorite place to visit when she is home from school, and they have done a good job decorating our house with eccentric items you will only find at Junk Gypsy in Round Top.
