UBEC Says Nigeria Need 20,000 Schools to Absorb Them

A full one-third of Nigerian children are not in school. Consider this also, at least one in 5 out-of-school children in the world is a Nigerian. This is to say the least, alarming. The statement by the Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, underscores it all. Nigeria requires no less than 20,000 schools to absorb the disquieting array of out-of-school children.
