Garmin GPSMAP 66ST How To Manage Tracks With Activity Recorder

In this video, I'll show you the Recorder Controls feature on the Garmin GPSMAP 66. This is a nice feature that allows you to control the activity track and gives you various information on it.

Remember that as soon as you turn on the device and acquire satellites, it will start to record.

To access the recorder controls, get to the MAIN MENU by pressing the PAGE or QUIT button or by tapping twice on the MENU button.

The Recorder controls has four tabs

RECORDER - you can stop/resume/save/discard the current recording. You will also see the total time and distance of the activity.

By pressing the MENU button will allow you to SAVE PORTION of the activity. Useful when you want you have multiple track segments over the course of a day or week and you want to save a portion.

INFO - very similar screen as the trip computer.

MAP - give you a map view of the track/activity. You can trackback to return to your start along with other map page options from the MENU button.
