Update: the more I test these brushes, the more convinced I am that they are made from authentic natural hair. My decision not to join the affiliate program remains the same, mainly because of two points: I cannot be certain about the ethical sourcing of the hair, and the shedding issue, which for me is a serious flaw in brush quality.
