*📌 What is Ramipril (Tritace/Altace)?*
Ramipril is an *ACE inhibitor* used to treat *high blood pressure (hypertension)**, **heart failure**, and to **reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death* in high-risk patients .

*🔬 How Does Ramipril Work?*
Blocks **angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE)**, preventing the formation of **angiotensin II**, a hormone that narrows blood vessels .
**Relaxes blood vessels**, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure .
Helps **protect the heart and kidneys**, especially in diabetic patients .
