According to evidence shared by Ukraine, Russia had begun using North Korean troops in assaults against Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk Oblast, where Ukrainian troops are conducting operations.

In this video, we analyze the information shared by the Ukrainian army about the wiped out of dozens of North Korean troops after the clashes in the Kursk region on December 15.

The first official invasion of Russia after World War II took place on the Kursk front.

Since August, the Russian army has been paying a heavy cost for this tough challenge.

According to figures released in November, the Russian army has lost more than 20,000 soldiers in the Kursk region.

Vladimir Putin has deployed North Korean troops in the hope of making up for these losses.

But things were not going as Putin had hoped.

North Korean troops have had their share of Ukrainian attacks.

In this context, the combined Ukrainian offensive that took place the next day virtually wiped the North Koreans off the front line.

So how did this attack take place?

FPV-drone pilots from the 414th Unmanned Attack Aviation Systems Regiment, Mahura Brigade, 95th Air Assault Brigade, 36th Separate Marine Brigade, 1st Tank Brigade and 17th Tank Brigade conducted a joint offensive operation.

The operation took place southeast of the village of Kremyanoye, Korenevsky district.
The North Korean troops were outnumbered, which made it clear that they were not Russian soldiers.

Russian troops usually move in smaller formations and stay close to tree lines to reduce their chances of being hit by Ukrainian firepower.

The North Korean troops, on the other hand, were moving in the open.

They wanted to show that they were not afraid of the Ukrainian guns right above them.

But Ukrainian weapons proved that this fearlessness was misplaced.
