I unbox Batman #181 from March of 1966, written by Robert Kanigher with cover by Carmine Infantino inked by the legend Murphy Anderson. It’s the first appearance of premiere Batman rogue turned anti-hero Poison Ivy. It’s graded by CGC as Universal 7.0 with Off-White to White Pages. This one has everything going for it—important 1st appearance for a character that is over 50 years old and still growing in popularity, first cover by famous artists Infantino and Murphy, and scarcity in high grade. No wonder it’s been barely affected by the bear market in comic books. I’ve never owned a copy this nice, so I’m thrilled to add this book to my personal collection and I think now is a good time for others to do the same.
