Today, I'm gonna show you some helpful things to keep in mind when fishing for striped bass with Super Strike Poppers.

This particular lure is the sinking model. Super Strike also makes a floating popper and an x-tra heavy popper, and they are marked by having green and red eyes respectively. Their sinking popper (standard) features the black eyes, and is generally the most used model.

In this video, I surfcast for striped bass using the sinking popper. These can be very effective lures if you know how to properly work them. The wind was howling in my face, and the super strike popper is one of the few lures in my bag that cuts the wind extremely well.

Hopefully you learn something by watching this tutorial! Or at the very least gain some confidence in sinking poppers by watching. They are sometime overlooked, but can be some of the best striper lures out there, especially during the spring striped bass run.
