Quetico 2023 Fly in paddle out trip Falls Chain

In August 2023 my son Michael and I enjoyed a fly in - paddle out backcountry canoe trip in the Quetico Provincial Park Wilderness.

This was such an amazing trip. Since Michael was a little boy we've been doing backcountry canoe trips in Algonquin Provincial Park. This year including the float plane in our adventure was a wonderful experience and the Queitco wilderness was unforgettable!

Many thanks to @canoecanadaoutfitters for all of their help in planning our trip. We're also very grateful to ‪@sourisrivercanoes4491‬ for building us such a tough, lightweight canoe that has stood up to the abuse we've put it through over the years.

I'm so grateful for having had the opportunity to do this. trip with my son and favourite backcountry adventure partner!
