Intro
Animals are like people in a lot of ways. They’re just trying to make it in this crazy world just like
we are. And, also just like us, they need a bit of help from time to time. And at the end of the
day, how different are we from our animal cousins, if all we need to survive is each other? Let’s
take a look and find out.

0:20 - When the temperature reaches above 40 degrees celsius or 104 degrees fahrenheit in
Australia, water is a gift not refused by the creatures that inhabit the continent. Here we see a
parched bird eagerly accepting some water from a human only too happy to help. The bird here
is a cockatiel if I’m not mistaken. Let me know in the comments if I'm correct.

1:12 - How this adorable little fawn got herself stuck in this tight spot is anyone’s guess. But with all
these neighborly humans pitching in, and Momma deer standing by carefully watching the
proceedings, this story will have a happy ending for sure.

2:28 - Hey human! How about letting us into that nice warm house of yours? Put on the kettle for tea,
we’re coming in.

3:36 - Foxes usually keep a safe distance from humans. That is unless you’re alone at night at a train
station and willing to share the tasty treats you have stashed in your bag. It’s either that, or
maybe England has friendlier foxes? Anyone know the answer?

5:05 - Check out our friend the “Pack Leader” of this pack of rescued street dogs handing out what
looks like the best meal any dog could hope for, but on a grand scale. It’s sure nice to know
there are people out there like this that care for our canine cousins in need.

6:02 - The last thing this sleepy pooch was expecting was for a stranger to buy him a nice blanket to
snuggle up in as he lay snoozing on the sidewalk, but to his surprise, that’s exactly what
happened.

7:12 - This raccoon struck gold the day he ran across this lady. Now he just shows up and has his
choice of delicacies. I wonder if he keeps his good luck a secret from the other raccoons? I can
see why this lady is so nice to our raccoon friend here. As far as raccoons go, this guy is very
cute.

8:12 - Most people would just keep walking if they saw a bird in dire straits like this. But not our friend
here. He won’t let it stand. That’s when he jumps in and turns this bird’s life around by rescuing
it from a grisly fate. This is exactly the kind of guy I want in my neighborhood.

9:07 - It’s this street dog’s lucky day as he comes across a store owner willing to share some meat
scraps with the hungry pooch. You can tell that the dog can’t believe that this act of kindness is
even real at first. But eventually, the truth sets in and he has probably the best meal he’s had in
a long time.

10:44 - In this clip we see a frightened, sad, and lonely little puppy all on his own meet his savior
offering a bit of milk. No worries now my little friend. Everything’s going to be alright.

11:46 - It’s this street dog’s lucky day as he comes across a store owner willing to share some meat
scraps with the hungry pooch. You can tell that the dog can’t believe that this act of kindness is
even real at first. But eventually, the truth sets in and he has probably the best meal he’s had in
a long time.

13:09 - As if you needed another reason to love firefighters…Firefighters are trained to save lives. And
that doesn’t mean only human lives. These heroes, responding to a residential fire, came
across a cat that wasn’t breathing and looked to be lost. But they applied their training and
every available resource to bring this cat back from the brink of death. And, as you can see, the
cat’s owner was beyond grateful and overjoyed to have her kitty back in her arms safe and
sound. It’s nothing short of a miracle. Now the cat has 8 lives left

14:45 If an animal gets its head stuck in a jar like this, it can be a death sentence if they can’t get it off
themselves. But this kind gentleman is not going to let that happen on his watch. It takes some
effort, and a bit of teamwork, but eventually the dog is freed and is able to scamper off to
freedom. That dog will think twice next time he goes to lick the last bit of peanut butter in the
bottom of the jar.

17:03 - These street dogs that live in this vacant lot absolutely love it when their favorite human stops
by. Because when they do, they bring a bag full of delicious vittles like chicken necks. And they
have no reservations showing just how excited and thankful they are to see their best human
