[KPOP IN PUBLIC] NewJeans (뉴진스) - Super Shy | QUTAPS

QUTAPS is back with another MASSIVE SCALE dance project for SUPER SHY 😳🙈💛💙💜💚🧡❤️️

With the nature of SUPER SHY having many backup dancers, we decided to take in as many people possible for our SEMESTER 2 dance project to once again show just how amazing our club's community is. We filmed this back in late October of 2023 after about 6 weeks of drilling - as you can imagine, getting this many uni students to all attend rehearsals (at once) as well as finding a filming day was quite a challenge. We rotated through 3 teams to let each member shine in the routine and altered the ending to give everyone a nice little bow, NewJeans style! Despite the heatstroke of trying to catch golden hour, our team wasn't too shy to dance in public as this project was filmed on our very own campus amongst other students playing basketball (no they are not actors) - but we think it really added to the vibe of Super Shy!

Of course, this wouldn't have been possible without Anuki De Silva who returned to QUTAPS to mentor this project and coordinate the masses. Thank you so much for teaching, re-formatting, directing and editing this project, but most of all, helping us feel confident (and not SUPER SHY) to dance! Thank you also to Gabby, Tamzyn and Hannah for helping out on the day! Finally, we can't leave out the MVP Chris Chung at CSquare Media for capturing all footage and photography in the blistering heat. 🙇
